I'm so sorry that Lucille is a Male. He is a beauty. I hope you can keep him.I'm crying now.Lucille IS a boy, I have to come to terms with that. It's messing up my plans for the flock and I am sad. I'm waiting for her to crow, as Greybeard started crowing and she should be too. She is larger than he, but seems a little behind in development. So right now I have 5 boys. I know I'm going to sell two, and am not sure what to do with Lucille.

Sorry to hear about Lucille. Hopefully 'his' journey (this thread) will help others trying to sex their ambiguous birds in the future. The legacy will live on! Also like to say that Greybeard has become quite a striking birdGood luck with choosing the 3 that get to stay, won't be easy but it's just a fact of life. Best wishes
