Pullet? Rooster?

I'm still believing that Lucille is a pullet. Her comb is not so red. . . By the way I finally changed Orange's name to Greybeard! :fl

I think cockerel also, but I have been fooled by EE's and EE mixes before. The wing bars and the tail feathers say cockerel. But I have a GLW/EE mix hen that I was SURE was a cockerel until about 18 weeks. Sometimes it can be very hard to tell until they are older. Your first picture I would have said pullet with a bit of reservation, the wing barring is there but not as obvious as the flight feathers are still short and some of the saddle feathers look to be just starting, but the last says cockerel to me. He may just be slower maturing. With mixes feathering can be quite different at different ages. One of my current roo's is a GLW/EE mix also, he was slow maturing.

I agree that EE and EE mixes are very difficult to sex. Last photo of Lucille is 14 weeks old.
