Pullet with extremely swollen eye! Help needed!

Yes it is done on purpose so that the birds can be kept crowded without risk of serious injury to each other. Some hatcheries (cough cough Ideal) will debeak day old chicks for you. Other hatcheries that offer started pullets will sometimes debeak their birds.

Found these droppings in the young chicken stall. Could they have coccidiosis?

If the meanie has Corid I would use it.
It's common for sick birds to get an outbreak of coccidiosis.

The swelling has gone down and the eyeball is visible although it appears to be clouded over.

Also the poop isn’t from her. It’s from some younger pullets.
Oh ok.
I would treat them if they were mine.
It might not be coccidiosis but it won't hurt.

Is Corid available?
