This Red Sex Link pullet who is close to laying has a very swollen eye and one of her wattles is swollen too. I can’t give a lot of background information on her as she is not my pullet. I tried to clean her eye out but I the yellow stuff (puss?) wouldn’t come off. I checked inside her mouth to see if there were signs of fowl pox and there were none. What can be done to help this pullet?

I’ll check it out. I was just looking at your articles page and I think the pullet has Coryza.
So what do you want to do? Treat or euthanize? I can offer suggestions on how to treat, but if it is Coryza, it's contagious and lots of people would recommend her, and some would recommend culling the whole flock.

I told my boss that we should cull her but she said first try to treat her. I’m no longer going to handle that pullet or any of the other chickens on the farm.
