Here is pic of open eves. I’m still undecided On the tree. Leaning towards chopping it so I don’t have to deal with the mess of going around it, it being in the way of windows and the trunk can be used as a roost of some sort

That's great ! I use hardware cloth 1/4" under the eves and then add window screen to keep out skeeters but you have to make sure the screen doesn't clog with dust during the year . I live in a swamp ! Skeeters - O - Plenty
