Ya i had been following that thread for a while, a bit of advice though, even know it will keep the water clean and clear you might try and elevate the pond or keep the filter system below water level. the reason for this is because if your pond is inground and your filter is above you have to pump the water and duck grime up to the filter which is a pain because even my sump pump can't handle that much solid. SO if you put the filter system below the pond the water and grime can flow to the filter system be cleaned and then be pumped back up to the pond and you don't have to worry about a pump that keeps getting clogged. (talking from experience with my homemade systems)
