Pumpkin seeds for worming?

illia, do you crush up the seeds 1st or just give them straight?

Cut 'em up. Although some Watermelon seeds I give straight, like the white seeded varieties, since the seeds are softer and easier to break up in digestion or by the bird breaking via the beak.

Ivomec is Ivomec no matter what animal they put on the label

Injectable is the easiest to use and measure, and it can be given orally

What would be a dosage for chickens? Is it different for pullet and full grown?

Is there ivermectin for chickens? I know you can use the one for horses on dogs.

In truth, there really are no wormers approved for chickens other than possibly Wazine (piperazine), but it gets only one type of worm, the roundworm. For that reason, I've never used Wazine. Seems a waste of time to me.

Almost every medication we use on chickens is off-label.

This is why I have been considering using Ivermectin only. Over and Over I read to use Wazine, then follow up with Ivermectin. What's the point of that?

Well, if everyone thinks it's the only way and no chickens have died from it, I guess that's what I will do. Any particular dosage and where do you put it? Between the shoulder blades like on cats and dogs?

Dumb question I know.....but are we talking raw, uncooked seeds or roasted/baked seeds. Do they eat the hulls?
