Yeah, I was thinking about the seeds being more people food at my house than chook food!

They can get the pumpkin guts that have previously gone into the yard waste, though!

Mine went ape over the squash guts I gave them last night. (the seeds and stringy bits that hold the seeds. ) I bet they'll love pumpkin!!

darn, I just threw out a bunch of squash guts and seeds last night....what am I thinking. Being new to chickens I don't always think of what to give them. Sometimes I am afraid certain scraps aren't good for them. Well, I shouldn't worry too much....I just saw my leghorn eat a frog in the backyard yesterday.
