Hi! I have a german sheperd Ava who is almost a year old, and an Alaskan malamute Paisley she has a thyroid condition for the rest of her life she is 4 years old. I will put pics! Share your dogs stories here! I also had a rescue from a shelter she dies a few years back I rember she always fostered stray kittens, and puppies. When we got a new dog she tried to nurse it. We think she was in a puppy mill because she wss never pregnant while in are care. Rex was my fathers dog when I was younger he died at 15. I will make another thread for cats.

Both my dogs were from breeders since I have allergies and we didn't want to risk it with a dog who wasn't 100% hypoallergenic, or had costly health issues, or behavioral issues. At the time I was 7 when we got Teddy.
We did tons of research on the breeder to be sure that it was a good one.

I have a Maltipoo named Teddy who we got from a breeder in CA. His mom is a red toy Poodle, and his dad is a Maltese. He is now six years old but still plays like a puppy (just not with his sister lol). He loves getting dressed up and going for walks in the stroller.

Just last year we got Rosie, a Yorkshire Terrier. She just turned 1 in May. She loves belly rubs and going for walks. She's always full of energy and get very excited whenever we come home. She often pees a little out of excitement lol.

They are both very well trained and love doing tricks. Some of the tricks they can do include sit, lay down, spin, come, stay, shake, high five, up, touch, and paw.

I'm on my laptop but I'll add some pics from my phone

My dogs, Layla and Juno. Layla the lab is an almost 7 year old sweetheart we got for free from my dad's co worker when she was a year old. The co worker got her as a regustered akc puppy, but didn't have time to train her for a long time, so she was mostly just locked up in a crate or put outside in a small dog run. When she was finally allowed around the house for thraining, they found that one of the kids was allergic to her. And just like that we had a dog! She is pretty useless and killed 2 of my ducks a few weeks ago, but we still love her.

Juno, the pretty blue eyed great pyr mix we got in november 2019. When we moved to MI last summer, my mom got scared by the coyotes coming close to the house every night, and inexplicably decided to get a puppy. So we drove all the way back to ND to visit my dad and buy a 350 dollar mutt dog. She is still a puppy at 10 months old, and tries to play with everything that moves, the cat, the ducks, children of all sizes (she favors toddlers and tends to accidentally scare them and knock them over with her sheer size)and of course Layla. She loves belly rubs and is a big goofball!😍

Aww! Ava is very energetic and loves to play with everything but she will not try to play with the chickens because we got a training collar. Paisley however is a different story...
