Pure breed cream legbar or not?

All cream legbar are not pure breeds. In fact cream legbars are barred rock mixes bred for blue eggs.
Going by the definition of "purebred" as "having both parents of the same breed or variety," that's not quite correct. They breed true, as a genetic pool; they are now a breed in their own right. There is no magic dust that makes the Barred Rock, the Araucana, or the Leghorn any more "real" than legbars, as they are functionally the same when it comes to breeding. That is, unless you subscribe to the notion that only APA acceptance makes a breed "real," but that's not the definition used in most circles; it is impractical and goes against convention. The Legbar club is working on APA acceptance, last I knew.

As for your question, OP—difficult to tell, though the colour pattern and crest does seem at least fairly similar to standard. Does it have a beard? It looks like it might in that image, though drawing conclusions from one image is not something I feel comfortable doing. Where did you get it? As it grows and obtains its full feather pattern, it will be easier to make qualitative estimates as to its heritage.

No its not a pure legbar.
Does look like it has a beard but besides that leg color is wrong, pattern is off, crest looks off.
