Purina Layena Plus Omega

So my new pellets need to be crushed into dust. Why did I bother?? For the last four days they have hardly touched any of it, so today decided to turn it into crumble like the original feed. Except this turns into dust and doesn't go to a crumble stage. So I mixed in a little of their old food and they are now touching it. Picky, picky. Who knew??? I guess they don't like the expensive, "fancy" stuff.

Also, there is less waste with pellets, so they may be eating more than you think.

Be patient, because they won't go hungry if the pellets are there

My hens did well on the Omega 3 Purina but it is a little bit pricey. I buy it only when I can find a discount coupon. The same with the Layena pellets that I'm feeding now. There was no "fishy" taste in the eggs.

I have been using the ley mesh from my local feedstore. But I entered a contest and got a free coupon to get one 40 lb bag of this purina layena plus omega 3 feed .. Now I am trying to find a feedstore around me that will accept it. But question to you all. My pullets are eating but I see that they are still scronnie meaning that they are taking there time growing. Is this cause I am doing something wrong? I am feeding them and they free range all day until night comes. I don't know why every ones hens are so fluffly and chubby and mine look thin /
