Put Eggs back or Trash them?

There's really no way to stimulate broodiness. It's a hormonal thing and some birds never become broody while others want to set all the time.

I put 5 golf balls in one nest to see if I have a broody hen amongst mine. No takers out of 24. Have found one on occasion that was on 4 or even 5 eggs, and none really was real recently laid. All were same temp. Happened two or three times. I just scratch her back and she raises up a little and I just slip them out with my other hand and leave her in peace.
