How long after they start cheeping do they have to make a pip?

Well some people say it can take up to 24 days for all of them to hatch depending on your temps. If you have been running a little hot then they can hatch earlier, little lower and it can take longer. Tonight will be day 21 for me. I checked them at lunch still no pips.

But I have no patience when it comes to these things. 3 weeks is long enough!

Update: i've got one chick out. Wheew! I'm just nervous as a cat until that 1st one comes out. I do feel better after I get one out. At least I know things have been going good. I'll post a few pics once I get a few more out.

I put 4 sex links and 8 brahma's in lockdown Sunday afternoon about 2pm. Nothing yet. The sex links were set about 12 hours before the Brahama's so I'm expecting my Sex links to be the first set to hatch. Hoping to come home tonight and find some pips. Congrats on those of you who already have some fuzzy buts!!

I'm jealous. I won't be home until 5pm tonight. All I can think about is my eggs, I won't be very productive today....I keep checking out the forums and reading about everyone else getting pips and zips and fuzzy buts. Oh well mine will come soon enough. I did however have my broody hatch a single chick from four eggs on Sunday. So at least I have one new baby.
