They counter offered with 7,900k more...Fiance said accept it, I wanted to do a flat 7k more...ah well.

IF they have accepted the Counter-Offer. They have bought the place.
IF they offered LESS than the counter-offer...or changed any terms of the Counter-Offer....

THEN it is still "up-in-the-air".

It appears that they have bought the place. (That's the way I read the OP's last posting.)
