Putting Chickens To Bed In The Rain!!!!

I would like to share with everyone the do and do not's of putting chickens to bed in the rain!!!

#1 Do not think they will go to bed 1 hour early, just because you need to go somewhere.

#2 Do make sure you have cleaned the ground around the coop that day!

#3 Do not ware shoes without a 2" tread!

#4 Do make sure someone has a video camera if you attempt to bypass numbers 1, 2 and 3!

Trust me ... the girls will and do laugh at you!

Its come to my attention that my chickens are not happy with all the rain! Today when I went to go check on them ... they where all quacking like ducks!!!

They are not impressed with all the muck in their pen and either am I!
