Putting eggs in the bator on July 25, does anyone wanna hatch along???

I got home from work this morning and looked into the broody pen and guess what I saw...................

there is at least one more but I couldnt get a picture. I'm so excited!

Got up thismorning and the stuck in egg guy was still stuck !Hadnt done a thing i had the shell off and so open and some membrane off..if he moved he'd fall out so then got him out
The membrane was dry as toast.
Wetted it but inally just slowly peeled if off it was away from the shell all over and every part dry ...but now his one leg is sideways under him like he was in the egg? like jutting out the opposite side of his body like he was in the egg still ... so he cant stand up obviouslyWonder if i should try and put some kind of split after a while or if it will unkink itself.?
right now hes just crawling aorund as his feathers are all somewhat stick-yish
Candled what eggs were left in there 2 sti l look full HUMMM. Anyway have the SLB's going in lock today .Put them in when stuck guy comes out.Dont want him to disturb them Hope i get something thery were m y highest $$ eggs yet! Sorta dumb to do when i get less than 1./2 of the chicks to hatch out.Oh well .Candled randomly last night and found one not to good but a couple looked pretty goodFingers crossed.
See ya all Friday and Sat for that hatch whoevers still in... .Is there a thread started for that or is it this one still?

He is a mix. His dad is an araucauna. I got the eggs from a friend with a mixed flock. He or SHE

came from a brown egg and I know that the friend has BO, Barred Rock, and Silver laced wyandotte hens so I'm not sure. The broody is a mix banty that I got from a guy who wanted rid of her due to broodiness

Messed wit h this little stuck guy again,His membrane seems to be drying up,I have a wet rag around his shell but i have taken off aLOT of the shell except the bottom and he stll struggling to get out.
I tried to pull a tiny piece of the membrane off next to his head sort of but it didnt bleed but looked like a tiny red line like a tiny vein not sure in the memebrane so didnt pull just put it back
I feel sorry for him all cramped and pushing to get out peeping to get out and stuck.I added more water on the membrane and on the rag . so both are soaked but not at his head.dont know if it will help.
Are all the other babies that were suppose to hatch at the same time already out? If not I wouldn't rush him, he is okay.

I would wait to try to get him out until everyone else from his hatch is out. If everyone else is out I would come back every few hours and pull off a little more of the shell. As long as there is no bleeding its okay to keep picking. If it starts bleeding stop and wait a few hours before trying again.

I ended up 16 total one still in maybe. I bought a mix from my friends at Taylor Hobby Farm. I was testing a incubator I built out of stuff in my shop that I had not used. The mix was all from the best looking birds in our area the three copper marans, Taylor's Rooster won best of breed in November in north Ga show. He is a monster bird. Bramas, PR, white leggers, and ameraucana. I had 18 eggs and two white leggers still in one I think want make it, waiting today out on one. Very happy with the eggs. I can add the bramas and the marans to my stock and I have a guy wanting the others as soon as they are ready to go out. We traded chickens for lumber.
Thank You

My eggs started hatching on day 19! And I have several pips on day 20. The first hatched chick is an EE and hoping for more. I was scared my eggs won't hatch at all because there was a spike to 104 degrees! Will see if I can take some pics when more of them hatch. This is my third time hatching eggs. I tried dry incubating them to begin with but my humidity was super low, under 20%!! The eggs had huge eggsacks after a few days of that, so I quickly upped the humidity. The sacks were maybe 20% of the egg at lockdown.

Today was fair also my eggs hatching was a dud the mama must of cracked it because it was a dud so I threw the egg out. Now Im wondering if any of my roos are fertile??? I have to check. Also fair went good didnt do the best but get 2 bucks and a ribbon.

Sorry I have been slack. I am gonna try and post pics tonight. It has been crazy around here trying to get everyone back to school and all.
