Putting together a first aid kit

I would keep the antibiotics and electrolytes/vitamins, petroleum jelly, salves at room temperature. Read labels, they will say if it should be kept at room temperature.
I keep all the above items in the house. GC

The permethrin I would store outside. Your ointments/antiseptics/salts, etc., would do better inside in a cool dry place.

A tote will work for an injured/sick bird. It really depends on your set up and the space you have.

I prefer the wire kennel because I can set it up in the run, so the bird I'm attending to is not taken away from the flock. I've found, they are much calmer and the flock stays near the bird, so she feels more comfortable.

Electrolytes are fine to have on hand for emergencies - usually they would be given during the first few hours of something like heat stroke or a chicken that is in shock. I don't recommend that they be given for more than 24hrs.

Nutri-Drench I give on an "as needed" basis.

ACV some people do provide that in the water all the time, others save it for when a chicken is ill. I would not give ACV in the place of electrolytes. Do some research to determine how it's best used for your situation.
I prefer to just give plain fresh water.
