I have to tell you Buff, that before I joined BYC and I was browsing the coop section with DH, it's your coop that I pointed at and said "I want one like that!"
Now, mine looks nothing like that, it's a gable roof mini red and white barn. But I still think yours is beautiful.

I refuse to even consider Christmas Decorations until after Thanksgiving. I get sick of holidays being crammed down my throat months in advance by the huge money mongering stores. It get's earlier and earlier every year! What happened to the reasons for the holiday's to begin with? It's all about the money now and who can rake in the most of it the fastest!
When I do decorate for Christmas it's a huge live tree, put up 2 weeks before and has all hand made ornaments I made myself on it. I also make a fresh wreath and kissing ball as well as a mailbox saddle. I think homemade is the only way to go. It all comes down the day before New Years Eve. I love Christmas as much as anyone else but think it's rediculous to start decorating for it almost 2 months early.
