I was reviewing ideas in a permaculture book and was reminded of using a shadehouse to create shade on the east/west side of the house. That lead to a search in Craigslist for outdoor PVC for the structure of a shadehouse. I fould someone selling excess outdoor PVC from their greenhouse construction. Well, I could get 43 20'x2" pipes and misc. other items for $200. I think with 43 pipes I would have enough for a shadehouse and a fence around the chicken coop. Would that make an adequate fence for a chicken coop?
