Pvc pipe waterer

I made a auto water trough out of a 4 " pvc pipe and a float valve.. It took care of everything out there that wanted to drink.. \\\\

the only drawback was that I had 250 feet of hose running to it in the far pen.. the water was always warm from the sun..

when I fed the stock, I always dumped the water and let it run until cool water came..

but at least they never ran out of water.. and in the morning it was cool from the evening temps..

no not this one, but it looked like the feeder in this thread just longer and a little different and of course... for water.
I am going to lowes today to get some plumbing stuff and will give it a shot.

Ok. I did it, Went to Lowes picked up some pipe and made one. I will take pics tomorrow. It only took them about 10 mins to figure out how to use it ( with a little coaxing) They seem to love it.

No that's not the thread I saw. The one I saw looks more like a feeder. I will take pics of the one I made yesterday. When I get home from work. I did it from what I could remember I think it's close.

Ok here are the pics of my waterer. I think it is close to what I saw on here a while back It seems to work and they are using it. Real simple and I would say it holds about 4 to five gallons.

redstars, I do have questions, what is the purpose for the long upright pipe's? Does it hold water in some way? What does the top of the upright pipe look like? Yes, I am very much intrigued.
