That top picture just warms my heart ♥ Your lighter colored hen has an amazing comb! My Judy Blume looks like your lighter hen but has a comb like the darker one. I'm excited for Judy Blume to molt so I can get some truer color pictures of her, but she is still far too light. Either way, she has made me LOVE this breed.
I remember reading that cockerels tend to have less of a vaulted skull look at hatch. It seems like they still end up with nice tassels for the most part, but what are your thoughts on this? *If* that's the case, do you suspect this little adorable chick is a cockerel? Please keep in mind that I didn't even bother looking into that article to confirm and I didn't check sources either. I was told fairly early on that Judy Blume was a pullet.

I moved them to the outside brooder. They got right back on their eggs! They are doing great!

Oh, I don't know. I've never heard that. I was told Polish cockerels have more of a pointed crest at hatch and that worked for me this year, now I have a pair of the little beasts.
