I'm so happy to see your post. I was going to tag you and ask for an update on your flock. I think the majority of us in the US felt that frigid cold snap. It was pretty darn brutal and the coldest temps I've dealt with before. One of my cross breed roosters ended up with some frostbite on his wattles. I'm really surprised things weren't worse. I'm happy your rooster is healing up nicely. Your flock is gorgeous! I can't wait to see the new chicks. Here's hoping you get 24 or at least close to it, chicks soon! So excitingHey All! I’ve got 2 dozen eggs with veins in the incubator!
Put them in last Sunday and candled them last night.

Please excuse the Roos’ combs. We had a sudden cold snap at Christmas and they got frostbite. Both boys lost all the points on their combs.![]()
