Yes I'll have to get some new pictures but my little hen, "Judy Blume", looks a lot like your pretty girl. Same issues with mine in the white legs along with the Mille fleur pattern is too white, plus the tassel is very vaulted, which I read is normal on the hens. I'm pretty sure mine came from Privett too. I don't think other hatcheries had them then. I think they're the quietest birds out of all the breeds I own. Have you noticed that with your Pyncheon girls? Whenever Judy Blume was a chick, she would crow anytime she was away from her flock. It was so odd and I kept going back and forth trying to figure out why this bird looked like a pullet but was a fairly reliable crower away from her flock. She doesn't crow anymore but that was just the cutest thing.

Edited to add: She is named after an author. Most people wonder why her name seems so familiar. It was either Judy Moody or Judy Blume and since she was the absolute sweetest, I couldn't go with Moody I will be adding more of this breed

One of my hens crows too! Hens may be quiet, but roosters, and not crowing, but clucking. My best (I think.) roo, throws a clucking fit if I pick him up.

I wish Judy Blume would still crow! I love hen crows so much I've got an OEGB hen that crows and I actually got a recording of it to enjoy anytime. Judy Blume is just so quiet. Even her chatter is so quiet. Maybe she doesn't because the more dominant OEGB hen crows. Judy Blume loves to dig and had a hole deeper than she is tall dug out in her run! My birds aren't free ranging because of the bird flu and having a lot of wild waterfowl on the property, so she's taken to digging herself to the other side of the world apparently

YES! I actually was hoping to add some of those but I didn't follow my gut and increased the humidity at lock down. I paid quite a bit for those eggs, but it was my fault. We have gut feelings for a reason and I should have followed it. Maybe I'll try again soon

I hope to get some soon. What do you think their ancestors were? They look quit a bit like Sulmtalers.

Mine love to roam up into the wood with my Spitzhaubens, they look so at home running through the brush, like little game birds. I guess I'll have to lock my birds up soon too.
