@SilksterTN and I were joking that I bought them because I have "turkey envy" of her adorable midget whites.

Turkey envy is a thing. Pic is of the midges giving me a heart attack sunbathing the other day.
Well I still sort of have emu envy until I contemplate how big they are going to get and how the heck I could fit them into my chicken yard. LOL The updated pics are epic and I am having fun living vicariously through you.

Man I have often thought that keeping a flock of these would be the bomb!!
I love to eat turkey and smaller ones would be great.
Do you breed/grow them for meat or just pets?

I will be offering hatching eggs and maybe poults next year. I have one pair left available. I gotta say we had evil nasty blue slate turkeys years ago and swore off turkeys. I took a chance this year and I am totally hooked. They are friendly, sweet, and follow you around like puppies. LOL Fair warning, Pyxis gets first dibs on hatching eggs if she wants them .

Honestly I am not sure. They are so sweet it would be very difficult to cull. Yea. I'm a huge softie. LOL
