In case anyone thinks I am thread-napping, I am hopeful Pyx will adopt my emu when s/he is older unless I get lucky and can convince hubby we need acres of 6 foot fencing. So this is kind of her Emu also!

Yes, I had two eggs but one rotted out early Poor little thing will be lonely. Have already put a few stuffed animals in the cage, so I hope that helps.

I loved it... Can't convince DW we need emu's.... She says turkeys are big enough. Especially after moving one of the small girls back into the hotel after she escaped.

I just got mugged for my sandwich.

I was eating a nice roast beef sub with some tomato and lettuce. Then C noticed the lettuce. She immediately grabbed for my sandwich and almost stole the whole darn thing.

So then I shared my lettuce. Silly bird.
