At this point I'm halfway to having my own, lol. Now there's an idea.

This yummy treat is getting ready for Ciara to eat it in a little bit:

Strawberries mixed with Fenbendazole deworming pellets. I'm letting it sit so that the pellets will absorb some of the strawberry flavor. Not that she minds the pellets, since she has eaten them right out of the dish with nothing added before, but I might as well make it fun for her!

Well, after a lot of hard work, and literal blood and sweat, I have expanded the emu pasture! I figured if I was going to add two more, I might as well also add to the size of the pen.

Here's Ciara standing right at the where the old fence line used to be looking out over her new domain. I still need to pull that last post out.

She and the geese got right to work on eating all the new greenery.

I got a lilly-pilly knocker-downer stick here, a fourteen-foot length of poly pipe, and I give the lilly pilly tree a good walloping, which brings down showers of the purple berries. The wild emus come from miles around to eat them.
