Muscovies dont quack, they make a hissing noise.

Much quieter than your normal duck.

It's really funny because Muscovies are the biggest ducks I've seen, and yet they don't make a sound. Just a hushed hissing and series of squeaks.
And yet, the smallest ducks, Calls, are SO LOUD. We live in a valley of sorts and their quacks echo

But their cuteness makes up for it, LOL.
But yeah, the lady I got my muscovies from, lived in city limits where she technically wasn't supposed to have them. But no one knew

I just got my first girls today. While they don't make a traditional quacking noise, they do honk when they are stressed. It sounds similar to a goose but much quieter. My drakes are REALLY quiet. All they do is huff.

I love my khakis! The drake is awesome. He still gives me the eye though when I look at his girls!

Yes, muscovy are pretty darn quiet.. i can get my hens to quack.. pick them up and they do

and the drakes make this hissing sound but they really are quiet.. blue jays make more noise

muscovies are very quiet.They also fly really well and i mean like ..up onto your roof or perchhing up in a tree type flying...unless you clip a wing. And they are SUPER SWEET too as a rule.
