Quail Attacked by Magpie!

Hi,
One of my 20 week old quails has just been attacked by a magpie and has a small chunk missing from her head. It is on her left side between her eye and ear feathers. The bleeding has stoped and she’s drinking from a syringe. Apart from that shes not moving and has bothered her eyes closed.

Is there anything Incan do and what should I do?

Place her in a dog crate or basket. Apply some antibiotic ointment to her wound. She may be in shock, or have a head injury. Later, offer her sips of water up to her beak. Hopefully, she will start acting normal again soon.

We have her in a separate cage than the rest, should there be any bedding in there or not? She‘s had water from her beak, and what antibiotics would you recommend?
