I have wondered how Quail Sauerbraten (sp?) would taste? Basically it's a way to pickle the meat for a few days before roasting. I have made it several times with cheap cuts of beef roast.

Don't know how older quail would take to pickling, but the but figure since they pickle well at a very, very young age (eggs
