Tap on the feed with your finger... It sounds like pecking of another chicken and it will lead the chicks

Yeh they know how to eat I spread on the fabric and they peck at it

Today in the morning I woke up and obviously went to my brooder for a check up
Next
I see a chick with an enormous piece of thread hanging from its mouth I grabbed it a gently opened its mouth o pulled. It to the other side slowly now it can eat but I left it to rest before I took of the other side after a min
I went to take it out but it disappeared
Did the chick swallow it or
Did it’s siblings pulled it away idk should I be worried?

my dead toe chicks are also kind of drowsy I will need to wipe it’s feet with ointment or vinegar
