Today I was playing with my quails and when I was taking them by hand to their brooder box after play time my male yellow quail broke free of my hand and fell to the ground!
I thought nothing was wrong at first then he began to wriggle and couldn’t stand!
his head wriggled and I was sure his leg joint broke I was horrified and trued to calm it
I put two pieces of tape on it’s legs to help it stand and it’s trying really hard he can drink now I’ll wait till morning to see if his keg is ok again pls hope me luck

Next time you transport them use a small box to put them in and stay close to the ground

I took off his tiny tape slices on his legs now he can walk properly

Oh no! Yesterday one of my quails couldn’t walk. She still can’t eat pls help I can’t send her to the vet today I have a issue I’ll have to send her tomorrow I feel like she’s literally starving! What should I feed her she’s not eating the pellets.her crop is empty I saw help!

How big are the pellets? Quail chicks need crumble small enough to fit in theirnmouths easily, which is almost just powder. Or have it turned into a mash. It also needs to be a higher protein than adult quail feed. They do best on around 30% protein in my experience

Others can eat they’re small pellets should I force her to eat she’s not eating!

She can’t walk or drink what should I do?
