idk just my 2nd hatch 1 of them did it so when I see people are just starting I tell them

I might just have been lucky! I do put paper towels on the shavings for the first 2 days maybe thats why it hasn’t happened to me

ye i have stoped hatching quail but i am trying to spread my knowledge and help people

Smallholders turkey starter when I can get it, when I can’t I use Smallholders turkey starter/grower. I have been having some health problems not sure if it is the food (the grower is the one I think is most likely causing the problem, if it is the food)

try making your food it is cheaper and u can make it to fit your birds u can add more or less calcium or protein or even vitamins ........ if u do make it don't put dry mealworms and stuff like that u can get a fine it is against the law

With my knowledge of nutrition and experience from making my mouse food, that would be very complicated

ye it is but better then anything can buy off-the-shelf I do with my fish 2 .. when I get my hens and ducks i will buy it but I make it for my fish and dogs for that mater
