Yeh um pls can someone tell me if I should turn on my 60 watt bulb at night?

I mean they just hatched so will they get cold.
I mean I’m afraid if it catches fire my quails are in a cardboard box so will they get cold? I can t find any other kind of bulb in our neighbourhood

If that is your heat source then it needs to be on all the time until they don’t need heat

Yes they will get cold, I don’t use heat lamps so I don’t know how to set it up to minimise the chance of fires

I don't know about quail but with chickens when they're young you keep the bulb on all the time. When they are older and stronger (maybe 5 weeks old) you can turn it off at night
