. He already tried with the chickens but we live in an agricultural area. I will try tomorrow.

lol I dont use my LG to hatch anymore, I just use it to dry off the chicks that hatch. I think the problem is that the foam they use is not that good. I took out the heating system of the LG and made my own incubator, it works better then my hovabator its so accurate !!

Do you guys know theres an Christmas gift swap going on

I use my LG for everything, and it works pretty good. I have only hatched quail twice, technically, but they were two different breeds that were going at the same time. I had a horrible hatch, but I didn't know what I was doing with them either. I have more buttons in a borrowed LG, and more A&M's in my LG. The A&M's don't seem to be doing anything at all, but 2 are dark so they are staying. I won't know about the buttons for 2 weeks, so we'll see how they do. I have heard that quail need a bit lower temps, and higher humidity, so that's what I'm doing with the buttons. Hope it works out!

Another thing I've heard is that shipped quail eggs are hard to hatch. Maybe you can hatch eggs from your own, or get some more adult birds to get a better start.

I would love to have a sportsman and be tempted to hatch 340+ eggs but the rcom will help my temptation. Plus I will be hatching parrots and cockatiels. Thats why I need the rcom 20 pro USB. It's designed for those kinda of birds plus chickens and quail
