quail eggs are hatching. need HELP. first time.

it sounds to me like your humidity is to high. i always put my quail eggs in the dry areas on my incubators.

for incubation try to keep it around 40% and about 55% during the hatch and see if that helps you.

if the ooz is orenage it could mean your temperture is too high or low and the chick has to try and hatch at a certain time or he will run out of oxegen and it sounds like he didnt absorbe his yolk fully usually they die

even if you assist hatch what is your temperture at the moment and trouout the incubation

High is 100to and low is 99. On the third day it spiked to 102 but has not done that since. It has not changed at all. It's got a fan for air, but I still have two 3/8 inch holes in the zide so they should have good air. I read quail usually has 95%a hatch rate. Even though it is only a couple that died before hatching, I am still worried I got something wrong.

I made an automatic turner that runs for thirty minutes every thirty minutes. It works like a seesaw that has a three or four inch drop and rise.

ok you did everthing that you could are they still oozing i may be rong but its what i no anyway and is there any progression

No. One of the ones oozing has a good bit, but stopped. The other one has very little. One looks like it has fir sticking out. Out of 36, 28 have not changed. They seem ok. Maybe the rest are progressing normal. Friday will be 24 days. No matter what, I can only wait. I got the humidity down to 57% by putting one more hole in the cooler. Everything else is where it is suppose to be
