Quail Forum Information

I'd love a section on BYC dedicated to quail (or "gamebirds" to cover pheasants, too), turkeys and waterfowl (I love ducks, but I love my geese even more and don't want to see them excluded

.

I don't mind tossing up a forum, but I also don't want to step on any toes. I have plenty of space and bandwidth so it wouldn't be a problem on my end.

I hadn't thought of that. PC, why do you have to be so PC?

I have bin reserching alot on Quail and all your help was wonderfull!
I have a Question:
How much space do butten Quail need?

Here is my Idea:
I get these small aquariums ~ 1x2x1 feet and put 1 pair - 2 Trios?
Bedding-Wood shavings
Feed-game bird ration
water-shallow with marbles
lots of hiding places
Does this sound good?

I'ts an improved strain of northern bobwhite, not quiet as large as the Butler Bobwhite, I have both, The Ga giant is more of a shooting bird than the Butler, with longer wings and tails its becoming popular with hunting clubs around here..On average its a beter layer than the other giants ( Butlers, Cunninghams and Indiana Giants)...Go here for eggs...Good people and great service. http://www.wadleyquailfarm.com/#GeorgiaGiant

Are they bigger than Coturnix? Can I keep different breeds in the same pen?
