When u cleaned wound make sure it dry before u put cream or ointment on jus dab with bit warm water teeny bit salt some food maybe some sugar or honey in water to give a boost may want to go to ur local farm supply get some bits maybe saline antibiotic ointment/cream? Pls keep her sepeated somehwre warm and sheltered keep a close eye we here if u need anything u not alone i know how u must be feeling its nt nice bless ya both xx

What do you mean by making sure the wound is dry?
 
I have separated the small hen before and she got really skinny during that time. Anything I could do to prevent that? And how should I clean her wound?
Do you have any antiseptic wash? That works really well. I would bring her inside and make sure she is warm and comfortable. If you have some Blu-kote, that will keep the other birds from pecking at red if you can't isolate her.

I really recommend isolating her for a couple of days, though.

No, I don’t have any antiseptic wash, but will keep her away from the other quail
