Quail hatching help! and SUper excited!! *HEart attack!!*

I just bought a bunch of quail eggs from a fellow BYC

Mrs. AK-Bird-Brain. And this is my first time hatching egg...IM freaking out! my heart is about to jump out of my chest cuz i'm so excited. Can anyone give me some extra tips and DOs and Donts. I have an LG Stillair bator

Well first you better calm down!

(easier said than done when chickens are involved!)

Keep the eggs in the bator and touch them as little as possible...let them hatch on their own...have the brooder ready as soon as you see your first pip....let them get dry before moving them....read everything you can get your hands on about hatching...

I'm so glad you're excited. Read the article I sent to you... it really isn't that hard. Same as chickens, really, only you don't have to wait as long.

You poor thing... it's going to be hard enough waiting for them to arrive!

We just had 7 buttons and 4 Coturnix hatch in our LG yesterday. Have patience
with your LG and it will give you plenty of quail.
