Quail in chicken coop?

Is it ok to house quail in cages in the coop with chickens?

I do. My cages are hung on the wall, and the chickens keep things scratched up underneath the quail. I've had no problems doing it this way.

Im not expert by any means but a North Carolina Wildlife officer came by just to check out my quail to see how they were doing and he even suggested that I might shouldnt have used the same pen I used to keep chickens in because of a particular mite that a chicken carrys that kill quail. He said he had that problem and lost most of his quail. I can honestly say that I have not had a single issue with them but I dont keep my in the same pen with chickens. I dont have chickens any more.
