What do you guys think of this quail layer feed? Just found out they carried it last week so picked up a bag to try.

@Kiki @007Sean are both really good resources for feed.
From a quail-only standpoint, I would say it’s good overall but maybe a bit low calcium but true decision with price because others have had good results with regular layer feed.
Bottom looks pretty good as a starter feed to me

I think it looks pretty good. Compared to mine, the fiber and phosphorus is a bit high but I'm thinking it would work ok. The Pheasant crumbles look to be perfect all around. Do they also sell larger bags of the two feeds?

The pheasant I bought was in a 50lb bag, the quail layer feed was only in 25lb when I stopped by. They said they could get some in 50lb bags, or even 2,000 lb bins if I wanted lol.

They are a large feed mill so they will do it however you want. They send huge semi trucks of waterfowl feed they send to Metzer Farms for their ducks on a weekly basis.

They are super friendly, an even offered to let me contact their specialist that designs the feed blends. I wish I could start a large quail farm so I could take advantage of such a valuable resource that others would just love to have close by.

WOW, I don't know where I'd put a 2000 lb bin, much less how I'd move it.
