Jjmr is right.....
ive never have a quail egg explode in my bator, they just dry up.......
i dont even candle mine at all....
throw them in
set temp
fill water bottle
turn on turner and basically ignore them except for a glance a few times a day at the temp and humidity........
start looking for peeps around day 16-17
to me quail are less sensitive than chickens...
ive ran humidity down to 20% forgot to lockdown ect and still had excellent hatch rates....
