Quail not standing up! legs not working

I came home to find one of my female quails was lying on her side, and did not want or cant get up.

Picture above is from moments ago, i took her out of the pen from the others and layed her down on the ground, she didnt get up even then. She seems alert, just unable to stand. Whats wrong with her? Help!!!!!!

I don't have an answer, but maybe someone else is on now that does.

I saw that you had also posted this in the "quail" section of the forums and that maybe you didn't get the proper answer. I have been seeing a lot of questions in the "emergencies" section here of chickens that are going weak in the legs and can't stand all of a sudden. And some of these folks are trying vitamin therapy. This is not a half bad idea as many deficiencies can cause all sorts of issues from nuerological to nerve issues in the neck and legs. I have a female quail that at 6 months old developed nervous twitches and had trouble walking for a very long time. I had no idea what to do thinking it was going to kill her. So I got her on some bird vitamins in her water every day and she has improved tremendously. She is now 1 1/2 years old. So give it a try if everything else fails. It cant hurt.
