I am building an orchestra that plays an unwritten symphony. My most recent chicken flock additions provide a solid drum line and I wanted to add a little bit of strings, something delicate and beautiful.

Enter the harps. A fitting representation of these birds. Many symphonies don't have harps, but mine needed some!

Let me just say...OMG ADORABLE!!!!!! I had no idea how freaking unbelievably cute and adorable these things are. I mean, WOW!

I found them sleeping in their food bowl, lol. Several times I thought one was dead, it was sleeping, legs straight out.

They are soooooo tiny!!

Glad I read enough of this forum to convince me to get them :)

You might want to move the food all the way into the cool corner of the brooder. That will keep them from sleeping in it.

Thank you for the tip, I did, and they have not been sleeping in it. Guess they like the comfort though, think I will add another small lid in there for them cuddle in.

They're so cute 😍

Do you know what mutations you have there?

The person I purchased them from knew a lot and was really into the colors and showed me the parents. Super nice and informative, made me feel like I was getting a real quality line that he cared about a lot. The daddy was grey/white (sorry I'm not good at ID) and the momma was more standard color. I was taken aback by his setup, excited to get babies, and trying to look around at all of their awesome setups, all while listening to details about their flock, the babies, colors, and all kinds of stuff. I'm sure I missed a lot of details! :D

I honestly have no idea what I'm doing or looking at, he let me pick 10 out and I tried to get a mix of them so I can decide where to go from there. :)

Congrats on your beautiful babies! Post updates as they grow please.

Will try to keep this thread going with updates :)

Things have gone well so far. Moved them into a hutch.

They are all turning very cool colors, some very dark, one almost white, some grey.

When can I stop putting rocks in the waterer?

Is 2 weeks old about when I should give them a bath?

They're so cute. They look ready for a dust bath.
