Quail took a beating!

We have noticed over the last week that they are missing feathers. Today we came out to do our weekly clean out of the coop and they look horrible! All of them our three girls and our one male. Feather are gone. Please help and tell me what w

e need to do.

Going by all of the pin feathers in the second picture and the fact that all birds are losing feathers, I believe they are molting. Where are you located - rough location?

We are in Northern Illinois. They are in our garage at the moment. It's been in the high 30s and 40s recently so we've had the door open to get them used to being outside. They will eventually live in the coop in our garden.
