Quail treats?

My game bird feed says "Gamebird/Turkey" on the label. Of course, the quail would rather scarf up all the cat food anyway

Today, I threw in a large cucumber, 2 big carrots, and a stalk of celery amongst 49 BWs. Talkin' about occupying a bunch of birds' time.........they couldn't make up their minds which one they wanted the most. Literally looked like my yung'uns in a fresh box of Crispy Cream donuts... LOL

I can't wait until my eggs hatch. I can't get my adult goobers to eat their veggies. I don't think their previous owner ever introduced them. I would love it if the quail ate the stuff the picky ducks wont touch.

You never know you may have some southern birds

Though of something else my birds just love and its free. Milk Thistle. It grows it a empty lot down the road.
They attack it like they are starving.
Also radish leafs - those too.
