Quail zipped but not hatching for a few hours now

Hey guys
My quails are on day 16
2 hatched and one zipped
But that one hasn't made any effort of coming out of the eggs after zipping.
Shall I try to take the shell off ?
Not sure if it's fully zipped but at least half from what I can see

can you see any movement from the chick, little beak poking out or anything?
You're certain he has zipped most of the way around and completely stopped? It should be safe to gently finish the zip for him, but dont pull him out, once the top is detached, let him try to push himself out. If by any chance he isnt ready, resort to this Assisted hatching article
It always helps to have a good read before doing an assist.

I think he is out now just have the shell behind but somehow kinda still together so I thought it was stuck

Great! I had a chick that was half zipped and then stopped, the membrane dried out so I had to moisten it and slowly peel back the two layers. The articles here have been so helpful!
