The spinach may have caused the green poops, maybe they found some leftover scraps or something. They had some spinach on saturday night. Other than that, it's just been the Vella Chick + Duck Crumble
In addition to that recent green and brown poop from this morning, I saw one of the quails looking quite sleepy. Could this be a subtle hint of cocci? She's very chunky and looks healthy other than her looking sleepier than usual, tucking her head in sometimesThe spinach may have caused the green poops, maybe they found some leftover scraps or something.
If you're worried about it, go ahead and treat them with some Corid. It won't hurt them even if its not coccidiosis. We're not there so you have to decide what you think is best for them. I hope they get back to normal soon!In addition to that recent green and brown poop from this morning, I saw one of the quails looking quite sleepy. Could this be a subtle hint of cocci? That does look like cecal poop. Can you get more pictures of it? I ask because it looks like it might have some blood in it.Wow this is very interesting. I never knew that they had 2 types of droppings. Would this classify as cecal poop? I'm more concerned as there are green coloured poops too.
Yeah, I think you guys have Amprolium 200, which is the exact same thing as our Corid and Amprol powders.Unfortunately Australia doesn't have Corid (as far as I know). There are a few other brands like Amprolium and Aristopet Sulphadim but the label says it is for ornamental birds only
I'm working from home at the moment because of the covid crisis, when I get the chance to go out, I will send some more photos! That does look like cecal poop. Can you get more pictures of it? I ask because it looks like it might have some blood in it.
Just got a hold of a store that has 'em. I'm wondering though, how long do I have left before it's too late? It's friday today and the Amprolium most likely wont arrive until mid next weekYeah, I think you guys have Amprolium 200, which is the exact same thing as our Corid and Amprol powders.
Also, is it still safe to consume their eggs/meat even with coccidiosis?Just got a hold of a store that has 'em. I'm wondering though, how long do I have left before it's too late? It's friday today and the Amprolium most likely wont arrive until mid next week![]()
