I want to try to give the chicks I have ordered from Meyer’s hatchery to one of my broody hens. Do I need to quarantine those chicks before giving them to her? If so how long?

If you do, it will defeat the purpose of giving them to her. They need to be very young (2-3 days) for her to possibly accept them. I wouldn't worry about a quarantine, but read lots of threads about grafting chicks before attempting the adoption. Ask more questions if needed. Good luck!

If you want the hen raising them, they need to be placed with her as soon as reasonably possible (many folks like tucking them under the hen the night after they arrive to trick her into accepting them).

If you feel the need to quarantine due to vaccinations, biosecurity, etc., then plan on brooding and raising them yourself, as it's unlikely the hen will accept older chicks and vice versa. It works on occasion but it's not the norm.
