Queen Victoria wont eat or drink

I just ordered that product. Thanks @TwoCrows. I tried to take a photo of her vent, but that is not a one person job and DH is out of cell range. If I walk out there so will I be. And I haven't heard from the vet yet.

Probiotics are going into all the water dishes as soon as I get this phone call. I put Nutri-Drench in Queen V's water; should I switch that to probiotics too?

Usually with vent gleet the vent area is red and inflammed, and there may be foul smelling discharge and raw excoriated skin. Are you seeing that?

I cannot figure out what is wrong with Queen Victoria. She has been acting lethargic and is losing weight. Her crop feels empty and she will not eat. Sometimes she pants, and it is not hot here at all. I tried to get a video of that, but once we started messing with her, she stopped panting. I direct dosed 1 mil Nutri-Drench, and then added some to her water, but I'll have to go and direct dose her water too. After the Nutri-Drench she started panting even more, but by the time I got the camera she stopped. Her comb is red. I thought maybe I saw wet pox in her mouth, but they don't show up in the photos. I have dealt with injuries, but never an illness yet. I checked her over for mites. Nothing going on that way. I can't see anything wrong with her. I have been noticing this for a few days, but today I was able to just walk up to her and pick her up. I normally can't do that with any of my hens. Anyone have any idea what to look for or do?

I don’t know much about sick chickens but I am sending positive vibes to you and HRH

Luckily it doesn't look that bad. There is no irregular odor, but a small amount of white leakage. Here are some photos of her vent and poop.

In the early stages her butt won't smell really bad, just strong. A red vent and being thin leads me to believe she has a yeast infection somewhere in her digestive tract.

I just saw your video, that might mean she has a fever? Are her feet hot?

Her feet are warm, not hot. Her abdomen feels empty and soft, but not squishy. I will make a comparison when the other girls go to bed. I cannot pick on up right now. That's hard on a regular day, but today I took their friend and didn't bring her back so they are a little afraid of me.

I just tried to give her more water with probiotics and she will not drink voluntarily. I just gave her some half an hour ago, so I'll try again in a bit. The poor girl is pretty tired of being handled. 😥
