Your vet should be able to look at the stool for yeast or bacteria if he does a gram stain.
Thanks! I'm heading out and drop off a sample. They have to send it out, but I will ask them to test for yeast or bacteria.
 
TSC may have the Acidified Copper Sulfate since it's really not a drug per say. Do you know how to give injections? TSC used to carry Penicillin. If they do, pick some up in the refrigerator section, a 3ml syringe and 20 guage needles and I will walk you through it.
 
I have bacitracin, but it's an ointment. I don't have penicillin or tyrosine, but I'm heading to TSC and the Farm Store to see if they have that or the copper sulfate.

It might. Dose is 56 mg per pound twice a day orally.
Amoxicillin has better absorption than Penicillin for most "cillin" responsive bacterias, it may work just as well on Enteritis? I've never used it for Enteritis.
